If you haven’t seen last week’s post about the Barndominium/Pool House, take a minute to go check it out! This week we wanted to show off the rest of this project and explain it in more detail. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite pictures and see the amazing change this barn went through…

The main appeal of barndominiums is their high ceilings and open concept, and this is a great example. Our client wanted a space that was perfect for hosting big gatherings of friends and family. The open concept of this barndominium allows for ample amounts of seating, as you can see in these pictures.
If you saw last week’s post, you’ll see the difference compared to the pre-remodel state of the barn. We added a full kitchen, pantry, and bathroom while keeping part of this barn as storage for yard maintenance equipment. The barn door in the second picture leads to the bathroom as well as the yard maintenance section of the barn. That picture also shows the door to the pantry just right of the kitchen.

The cabinetry color chosen by the client throughout the barndominium keeps a consistent and tasteful look. This pantry makes use of extra counter space as well as wood toned floating shelves to complement the flooring below. Our clients love having this bonus pantry to hold extra food and supplies for those big gatherings.

The bathroom features a luxurious walk-in shower, perfect for those needing to get cleaned up after time in the pool. All the flooring in the barndominium is waterproof so that people tracking in water don’t damage the floors. With the full kitchen and bathroom, this barndominium can easily function as a full guesthouse if the need arises.
If you took inspiration for your own barndominium or other remodeling project but need further direction, give us a call! We would love to help you make your home renovation dream a reality!
