Our History

Stonehenge Construction is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1998 by Karen McKechnie, whose career in the building industry began in 1975. With a degree in Shelter and Environment and a passion for architectural and interior design, Karen built a reputation for creating beautiful, functional spaces.

Her love for design and craftsmanship inspired her three sons, Tommy, Eric, and Michael, to join the family business after college. Today, the McKechnie family provides a full-service design-build experience, specializing in custom homes, home renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, aging-in-place solutions, and more. Together, they are committed to bringing each client’s vision to life through thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and personalized service.
